Overview of the Accounts Receivable Accountant Role:

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant with us, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fund Processing: Process and accurately post-received funds to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Customer Communication: As the Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will proactively handle follow-up inquiries via phone or email to address any payment-related questions or concerns.

  • Aging Reports: Manage accounts receivable aging reports, promptly identifying and addressing overdue accounts.

  • Reporting and Collections: Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports and efficiently process collections to optimize cash flow.


Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Accountant:

To excel in this role as an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Accounting Experience: 0-3+ years of experience in accounting, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and commitment to accuracy.

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, reflecting your dedication to the field and commitment to continuous learning.

  • Excel Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas, to efficiently manage and analyze financial data.

  • Software Experience: Experience with NetSuite is a significant advantage, showcasing your ability to adapt to and utilize accounting software effectively.
