What does a Supervisor, Accounts Payable do at Rinnai?

Manage the Accounts Payable function across multiple sites including a manufacturing facility. Process invoices and credits in the ERP system. Review and approve check runs. Work with treasury on wire and ACH payments. Communicate professionally with both external and internal customers.

  • This position is located at 103 International Drive Peachtree City, GA with a hybrid schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable Specialist(s), including regular review of KPI's
  • Prompt posting of all vendor invoice vouchers
  • Verify all required signatures and documentation are on invoices before processing
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Coordinate check and wire payments, supervising a check print at least weekly
  • Input of vendor data and invoices to the ERP system
  • Make copies and coordinate with other team members for documentation of marketing, prepaid and capital asset invoices
  • Reporting and participation in month-end close journal entries and analysis
  • Manage the AP Aging and Vouchers Payable reports
  • Answer vendor inquiries and follow up on issues
  • Ensure accurate vouchering of parent company inventory purchases and debit and credit memos
  • Work with purchasing to research and close out old, open purchase orders
  • Ensure processes are in place to handle inventory prepayments when terms require prepayment

  • Support the implementation of standard business processes and documentation
  • Implement continuous improvement changes
  • Work across teams to resolve issues with Procure to Pay
  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment
  • Participate in various projects and analysis as requested
  • Awareness of and compliance with Company Policies and Procedures
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE

  • 2 Year Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of payables experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Deep understanding of the Procure to Pay process

SKILLS

  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Proficient with various Microsoft Office applications
  • Analytical, flexible, and able to adjust to and learn new processes and procedures
  • ERP experience

ABILITIES

  • Track all aspects of a project to ensure completion and follow thru
  • Multitask with competing priorities
  • Great verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Meet weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Use standard office equipment such as copier, and check printer
