Accounts Payable Specialist for a
3-month contract located on the
Eastside of Rochester, NY. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous AP experience-or an Accounting Associate's degree with 6-12 months of related work experience-who's looking to start immediately.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
(slightly flexible hours)Pay Rate: $16-$21/hr
Type: 3-Month Contract
Job Responsibilities: - Perform special Accounts Payable tasks during a 3-month assignment
- Verify invoice accuracy and completeness
- Process groups of invoices using spreadsheet uploads
- Assist with invoice tracking and reconciliation as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized records of AP transactions
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Job Qualifications: - 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience
- OR Associate's Degree in Accounting with 6-12 months of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, data entry, basic formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
