Position Overview
Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic team in Arizona. This role involves job costing and requires proficiency in Foundation software. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the accounts payable processes efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Foundation software to manage and track accounts payable processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payment processing and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the finance team in monthly closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports by providing necessary accounts payable data.
- Contribute to process improvements for greater efficiency in accounts payable functions.
- Perform job costing activities to support financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Education requirement is a High School diploma.
- Experience with Foundation software is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
