The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coding and entering invoices, requesting approval, printing checks for payment and signature and scanning
Maintaining W-9s and preparing 1099s
Responding to vendor inquiries
Maintaining AP documentation support for controls compliance
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associates degree preferred; 2-3 years of accounts payable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
2 years of accounts payable experience required
Experience in the financial services industry preferred
Experience with Microsoft Business Central preferred

COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of accepted accounts payable practices
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests
Ability to meet deadlines and schedules
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

JOB EXPECTATIONS

This is a full-time position that requires regular and reliable attendance Monday through Friday during standard business hours with the expectation of being onsite at least 3 to 4 days a week.

Approximate Wage Range for this Role: $28.85- 32.22

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
