Introduction We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp, part-time position for our client in Valley View. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of recent accounts payable experience and will be able to thrive in a high-volume processing environment. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities - Process approximately 125 invoices per week, including manual 3-way matching
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues promptly
- Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
Qualifications - 5+ years of recent accounts payable experience
- Familiarity with NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle systems is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle high-volume processing (125+ invoices per week)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.
