We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to join our thriving Tech Services organization. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to drive and lead all aspects of the Accounts Payable function. The successful candidate will be a key player in our finance team, responsible for managing the company's expense reports, reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries, and check processing.

Responsibilities:

As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department including expense reports, reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries, and check processing.
2. Complete month-end close procedures and deliver reports to upper management within specified deadlines.
3. Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
4. Use advanced Microsoft Excel formulas to maintain and improve financial spreadsheets.
5. Manage QuickBooks and Great Plains for financial management and reporting.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Train, guide, and evaluate Accounts Payable staff to maintain high performance standards.
8. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Manager role should have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the tech/healthcare services industry.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with an understanding of advanced formulas.
4. Experience with QuickBooks and Great Plains.
5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including the preparation of expense reports, reconciliations, general ledger, and journal entries.
6. Experience with check processing and month-end close procedures.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
