Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager:
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable processes including active participation in the day to day tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER
• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
• Manage, coordinate and assist the accounts payable team with daily workloads, including the active participation of the day-to-day tasks
• Ensure effective internal controls, managing staff performance and maintaining acceptable performance levels.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and other offices within the company to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Ensure all accounts payable transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance
• Investigate any accounts payable issues that arise.
• Resolve issues promptly and escalate persistent or unresolved problems.
• Support both internal and external audits.
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for AP MAnager
- At least 3-5 years progressive AP experience in a high volume environment
- Experience in a multi-entity environment or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary range $75,000 - $85,000 + excellent benefits
