Express Employment Professionals is looking to hire a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to oversee and ensure the accuracy of the billing processes both for payments made to suppliers and invoices sent to clients.Our client is a minority and woman-owned commercial janitorial services company in Philadelphia that has enjoyed incredible success in its' four decades in business.
This is a full time temp to hire position that is 5 days in the office, 9am to 5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and verify invoices from suppliers to ensure the accuracy of amounts, terms, and proper approval before payments are made.
Cross-check and confirm that invoices sent to customers are accurate, including ensuring proper pricing, taxes, and discount terms are applied.
Ensure that all invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner, meeting any deadlines for both vendors and customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or business administration preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or clerical accounting role.
Experience working with external accounting firms or third-party service providers preferred.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
