Accounts Payable Associate Location: Century City, CA
Pay Rate: $24-$28/hour (based on experience)
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Associate with a strong background in vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage vendor relationships, process invoices accurately, and ensure timely payments while adhering to company policies. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the organization and transition to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and code vendor invoices accurately to appropriate accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, including collecting W9s and maintaining accurate records in the system.
  • Oversee and ensure proper handling of 1099-MISC and NEC tax forms.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment issues, disputes, or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review aging reports, monitoring outstanding payables and assisting in collections when necessary.
  • Assist with month-end close processes by providing accurate documentation and supporting journal entries.
  • Support vendor integration efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable or related experience, preferably with a focus on vendor management.
  • Proficiency in financial systems like Workday, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of W9 and 1099 compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
