Michael Page are recruiting for a dedicated Part Time Accounts Assistant who is proficient in managing financial records and providing a supportive role in the Accounting & Finance department.

Description

The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
  • Updating and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers
  • Assisting in the processing of invoices and expense forms
  • Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • AAT qualified or working towards professional qualification
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Good team-working skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Offer

  • A salary range between 26,000 - 30,000 per annum
  • 22.5 Hour Working Week - Split across 3, 4 or 5 Working Days
