Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Dundee
Salary: 22,000 - 28,000
Contract Type: Permanent

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant with credit control and purchase ledger experience to join the finance team.

Main Duties:

  • Following up on overdue invoices and implementing collection procedures
  • Handling and resolving payment disputes or discrepancies
  • Preparing weekly reports
  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Managing supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Managing and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger
  • Communicating with customers to ensure payment is received according to terms

Personal Requirements:

  • Proven credit control experience
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and various accounting software.
  • Ability to thrive in a past paced environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to business needs, including handling ad hoc tasks.
