Job Details

The Accounting Systems Consultant will be responsible for evaluating, redesigning, and implementing a new accounting system that meets the specific needs of our architecture firm. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and accounting software systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing accounting systems in similar environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate the current accounting systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to redesign the accounting systems, ensuring they meet the firm's needs.
Provide training and support to staff on the new accounting systems and processes.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with the new accounting systems.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Specialized knowledge of AIA billing processes and requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or financial consulting, particularly in redesigning accounting systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial management systems.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with AIA billing processes and requirements.
