About the Role:
As the Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team. You'll work closely with senior leadership, including the Assistant Controller, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and financial regulations.
- Lead the month-end close process, including reviewing journal entries and financial reports.
- Manage monthly reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Support the quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, helping them develop their skills and advance in their roles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred
- Healthcare Industry is a MUST
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups)
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
