-Credit card processing is a plus
-Point of sale
-Basic accounting functions
-Need to be versatile in AP and AR function (ONLY accounting person in the company)
-NOT doing payroll within this role (just key the journal entry)
Accounts Receivable (A/R):
-Generate and send invoices to customers.
-Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
-Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and promptly.
-Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone or email.
-Prepare and distribute aging reports to management.
-Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes.
Accounts Payable (A/P):
-Review, verify, and process vendor invoices.
-Match purchase orders with invoices and receiving documents.
-Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor bills.
-Maintain vendor files and contact information.
-Reconcile A/P transactions and resolve discrepancies.
-Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE
-3-5+ years of experience in both A/R and A/P roles
-Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAGE 50 preferred) open to QuickBooks experience
-Strong Excel and data entry skills (experience in equations, pivot tables, v look ups would be helpful knowledge)
-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
NICE TO HAVE
-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
-POS and credit card processing experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
