Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Services Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential accounting tasks such as reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must, as you will be using it extensively to manage our clients' financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger.
Assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update clients' financial records.
Prepare financial statements and reports as needed.
Assist with tax preparation and filing during tax season.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide support as needed.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a CPA firm.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
