Accounting Manager
Torrance, CA (Onsite - 5 Days/Week)
$120,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting functions and help drive financial excellence.
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, onsite environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with leadership and contribute to the growth of a reputable construction company. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of construction accounting experience, a strong understanding of payroll (Union & Non-Union), and a solid accounting foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Handle full-cycle Union and Non-Union payroll processing and reporting.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with job costing and budget tracking for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams as needed.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
- Experience with Union/Non-Union payroll.
- Strong month-end close and reconciliation skills.
- Proficient in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Experience with Foundation software is a huge plus, but not required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership ability.
