$120,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting functions and help drive financial excellence.


About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, onsite environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with leadership and contribute to the growth of a reputable construction company. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of construction accounting experience, a strong understanding of payroll (Union & Non-Union), and a solid accounting foundation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Handle full-cycle Union and Non-Union payroll processing and reporting.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with job costing and budget tracking for construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams as needed.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
  • Experience with Union/Non-Union payroll.
  • Strong month-end close and reconciliation skills.
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Experience with Foundation software is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership ability.
