With over 50 years in business, we are a stable yet growing Auto part retailer servicing the country. With several locations throughout the U.S., we are continuing to grow our operations.

We are looking for a great Senior leader to support the Accounting team and help take our accounting to new levels, under the guidance of the Accounting/C-Suite Executives. This would be an ON-SITE role at our HQ office.

Job Details

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Controller & helping with inventory control, ensuring accurate financial reporting, assisting with the month-end close process, etc This individual will also play a key role in preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports, coordinating with auditors, and handling various daily accounting duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate valuation

Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports

Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations

Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation

Support additional accounting functions as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Mix of public accounting and private (ideally from Big 4 or other large CPA firms)

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Experience with ERP systems and Excel ideally Sage but not required

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
