RESPONSIBILTIES
Manage the P&L and Balance Sheet for HYBE America's label entities including:
- Review of standalone financials of the label businesses
- Analyze fluctuations and trend of the financials and be able to identify potential misstatements
- General ledger maintenance in SAP
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage the revenue cycles
- Review of invoices submitted by the business units for proper coding and accounting treatments
- Manage intercompany transactions with other HYBE entities
- Timely close monthly financials in accordance with the group reporting schedule
- Collaborating with FP&A and providing insight on budgeting and forecasting variances
Work transitions and implementations
- Work with the external group currently managing the finance process and understand the closing process as well as the technical accounting consideration
- Transition the finance function to the internal HYBE America finance team and establish new process including SAP implementation, process defining, and policy establishment
- Migrate balances and manage going forward
- Finance setup for any new label businesses in the pipeline
Accounting guidance
- Researching and providing accounting implications on proposed deals and transactions
- Various IFRS related technical accounting analysis
- Ownership of the SOX controls and related documentation relevant to the label business
Finance point of contact
- Respond to annual external audit and quarterly reviews
- Address periodic finance inquiries from the internal management as well as the HYBE headquarter
Relationship management and process improvement
- Maintain a positive working relationship internally with the US finance team as well as with various stakeholders including headquarter, business units, FP&A, treasury, etc.
- Standardize and streamline close processes where possible to ensure accurate and timely reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Strong ability in general ledger maintenance and familiarity / experience with ERP system (preferably SAP)
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data in aggregate as well as in detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Public accounting (Big-4) background is a plus but not required
- Bilingual in Korean is a plus but not required
Salary: $110,000-130,000/year
