Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will oversee and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger oversight, monthly/quarterly/annual activities, daily accounting operations, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, thrive under pressure, and possess outstanding leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Perform reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, preparation for annual audits, and financial statement reviews.
- Oversee daily operations such as accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll, and utility accounts.
- Continuously review and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures to optimize performance.
- Lead and coordinate the annual audit process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- Assign tasks, supervise, and mentor the accounting staff to ensure compliance and performance excellence.
- Collaborate with the finance team on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and account reconciliations.
- Drive the month-end close process, ensuring data accuracy and variance identification.
- Oversee cash and treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis.
- Maintain and improve internal controls, recommending enhancements as needed.
- Share financial results with non-finance teams, providing clarity and addressing questions.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in collaboration with the FP&A team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with proven leadership in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
