Role Description
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our business. You'll oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, provide valuable financial insights, and support the strategic growth of our organization in the competitive electronics market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to leadership.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor budgets and provide financial forecasts to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the confidentiality of financial data.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools; experience with QuickBooks/SAP systems is a bonus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
