Job Details
Position Duties:
Manage a team of 2-3 individuals
Develop and maintain internal/external relationships to build positive relationships
Review weekly payroll for 400-450 employees for accuracy
Reconcile vendor benefit invoices and employee withholdings
Manage record retention of payroll related reports and tax returns
Ensure all cash is posted in full to correct entity & customers
Monitor AR aging to ensure balances are being paid in full, timely
Complete monthly close on schedule each month
Review AP invoices of accurate GL coding
Ensure vendors are paid accurately and timely
Manage intercompany transactions to ensure accurate reporting on all companies
Update and reconcile balance sheet accounts each month
Ensure all accounting practices are adhering to GAAP
Prepare journal entries as needed
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
Perform ongoing training with employees to ensure continued growth
Inform management of any concerns within the department
Continuously look for areas of improvement to streamline processes
Create process documentation and maintain accurately
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting
3 years experience with QuickBooks
Experience with multiple entity companies preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Must possess excellent organization, oral and written communication along with interpersonal skills
