Job Details

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant, reporting to the Accounting Manager, will support all corporate accounting / general ledger functions.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Manage remote team - 3 initial direct reports (Junior, Staff, AP)
• Oversee the month-end close process and full-cycle accounting
• Prepare and analyze monthly account reviews
• Manage and oversee all business units revenue recognition, inter-company transactions, expense tracking, and variance analysis against budgets
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across global business units
• Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for executive management
• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
• Maintain adherence to GAAP
• Participate in external and internal audits
• Maintain accounting processes and documentation within NetSuite
• Drive process improvement initiatives and automation efforts to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 7+ years accounting experience
• 3+ years in accounting management
• Excel formulas and data manipulation (xlookup)
• NetSuite
• Thursdays in office DTLA
