Job Title: Part-Time Accounting Manager

Location - Frenchtown, NJ - onsite

Job Type: Part-Time (25 hours per week)


Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely postings, and maintaining the integrity of financial records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete postings.
  • Create and Post Journal Entries
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements at the end of each month
  • Manage biweekly payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Process payroll thru ADP
  • Assist Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Collaborate with international and department heads
  • Handle ad hoc requests
  • Assist with basic HR tasks (benefits, payroll)

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Accounting Systems like NetSuite, Oracle, MS Dynamics
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
