Who You Are
They are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager who enjoys both the day-to-day accounting work and the bigger picture of leading and developing a team. You're someone who finds satisfaction in accurate financials, enjoys streamlining processes, and takes pride in coaching and mentoring others.
What You will Do
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including financial reporting for multiple entities
- Lead the month-end close process, including both doing and reviewing reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
- Oversight of A/P, A/R, GL teams
- Train, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Work closely with leadership to provide insights that drive business decisions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
- A strong background in accounting (7+ years of experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment).
- Leadership experience - you love training, mentoring, and helping your team succeed.
- A hands-on approach - you're just as comfortable in the details as you are in strategy.
- A proactive mindset - you see opportunities for improvement and take action.
- Experience with larger system accounting software
Salary $100K-$120K
