What you'll do:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including GL review, payroll oversight (W2/1099 for 350+ employees), check runs, and ad hoc analysis
- Lead month-end/year-end close, journal entries, and financial reconciliations
- Ensure internal controls, audit readiness, and ERP optimization (Vista by Viewpoint)
- Work closely with leadership to continuously improve systems and workflows
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, 2+ in a leadership role
- Brings construction industry knowledge (a plus.) and thrives in a fast-paced setting
- Is people-centric, detail-driven, and loves solving operational challenges
