Job Details

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the accounting function for the company's numerous facilities. This position requires a strong background in accounting operations, team management, and expertise in fixed assets and inventory analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to financial management, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role will also involve working closely with other departments to support the company's growth and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants to ensure high performance, accuracy, and timely completion of financial tasks.
Manage the daily accounting functions across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial reports to ensure they comply with applicable regulations and industry standards.
Fixed Assets Management:
Oversee the tracking, recording, and depreciation of fixed assets across all facilities.
Work closely with the operations and facilities management teams to ensure accurate reporting of asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
Ensure that all fixed asset accounting practices align with company policies and industry best practices.
Inventory Management & Analysis:
Monitor and manage inventory levels across facilities, ensuring proper valuation and cost allocation.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, including forecasting and cost analysis for each facility.
Monitor budget variances and provide timely updates to senior management.
Evaluate financial performance and assist with strategic planning for resource allocation.
Compliance & Internal Controls:
Ensure all accounting practices adhere to company policies, GAAP, and relevant regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits and ensure the timely completion of all audit requests.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement systems to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes that may impact financial operations.
