I am working with a company that provides outsourced accounting services, right outside the downtown Philadelphia area, looking to hire an Accounting Manager. They offer very flexible hours and a hybrid schedule. They are looking for someone who can serve as a strong manager for the team (4 staff), and at the same time handle the higher-level accounting work.
This company is looking for a dedicated and personable Manager, who also has that roll up your sleeve mentality with strong technical accounting G/L skills.
Some of the responsibilities include:
• Hire and retain staff
• Ensure staff and client satisfaction
• Financial reporting for management and Board decision making and presentations
• Recommend and assist with implementing improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures, supporting client strategy and best practices
• Responsible for analysis and data visualization, budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare workpaper documents, schedules, and financial reports in support of the annual audit
• Create and maintain a department wide platform for tracking workflow management
Required qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 10+ years of G/L accounting experience
