Position Overview:
As the Accounting Manager for Corporate Consolidations, you will oversee the financial consolidation process for the multi-entity, global organization. You will be responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate accounting, strong technical expertise in consolidations, and the ability to work effectively with teams across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the corporate consolidation process, ensuring the accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements for all entities.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Analyze intercompany transactions and eliminations to ensure proper reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide support for external audits and tax filings, coordinating with auditors and tax advisors as needed.
  • Work closely with corporate finance, treasury, and other teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial data, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Continuously improve and streamline consolidation processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Support senior management with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, including assisting with management presentations and strategic financial planning.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting, with a strong focus on consolidations, financial reporting, and multi-entity structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, and related processes.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, with the ability to apply technical accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and mentor a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
