Job DetailsThis is a strong fit for professionals with a solid accounting foundation who are eager to grow their careers in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. The position plays a key role in establishing scalable accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy during a high-growth phase.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to support monthly close
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper account classifications
- Develop and document accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and invoicing
- Collaborate with department leads to track expenses and ensure accurate cost allocations
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to support compliance and filings
- Assist in investor reporting and financial presentation preparation
- Support accounting system implementation and process optimization
- Maintain payroll records, employee reimbursements, and bonus tracking in coordination with People Operations
- Ensure financial data integrity and contribute to scalable process development
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably within high-growth or tech-enabled environments
- CPA strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
- Experience with month-end close processes and audit-ready financials
- Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Brex is a plus
- Interest in gaining exposure to finance functions, including FP&A
