We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our accounting and finance team, bringing their wealth of knowledge and experience to help us achieve new heights. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert advice, and driving the financial success of our organization. This role will require a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management, as well as a high level of proficiency in Excel, annual budgeting, and the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Accounting Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and check runs.

2. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements that comply with accepted policies and procedures.

3. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

4. Coordinate and complete annual budgets and forecasts.

5. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

6. Meet financial accounting objectives.

7. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

8. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of financial matters, including tax planning, business growth strategies, and financial risk management.

9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. CPA or similar qualification is strongly preferred.

3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a consulting environment.

4. Expert proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

5. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.

6. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.

7. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.

8. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

10. Experience in managing and preparing annual budgets and financial statements.

11. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

12. Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.
