Client is a major US manufacturer of open web steel joists and steel decking. The Corporation currently operates six fabrication facilities, several sales and engineering offices, and employs approximately 1000 people across the United States.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support management in PCAOB compliance initiative through analysis and implementation of key controls over financial reporting.
Prepare and record journal entries in the normal course of business operations as needed.
Provide critical audit liaison and company subject matter expertise during interim and year-end financial statement audits, as well as quality of earnings analyses.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP
Coordinate and manage the external audit process, including responding to audit inquiries and requests
Monitor and maintain compliance with bank covenants and debt agreements
Own balance sheet accounting, including reconciling accounts, analyzing variances, and ensuring proper controls and documentation
Administer and enhance the various financial reporting systems, including Jet, Dynamics and power BI, including creating and updating reports, dashboards, and queries
Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accountants, ensuring high performance and quality standards
Research, document, and implement accounting policies, standards, and best practices
Perform other job duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA Required.
At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of GAAP, applicable laws, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Maintains strong attention to detail and ability to create professional, clear workpapers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to foster excellent working relationships with stakeholders across the organization to understand business, reporting, and data needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Hybrid work schedule generally 3 onsite days per week
General office and constant exposure to computer display.

COMPENSATION:

Base salary: $130,000 - $160,000
Bonus: 30%
Profit Sharing: 25% (50% of salary)
Performance based bonus as well
