Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close
• Manage AP/AR, general ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and internal dashboards for executive leadership
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner with operations and sales teams to track inventory and COGS
• Support year-end audit and tax preparation with external partners
• Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and controls
• Support the Controller with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Background in both public accounting and industry (consumer goods preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel; Netsuite or similar ERP is a plus
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a startup-like environment
• Experience with inventory accounting and CPG operations is highly preferred
• CPA certification is a strong plus, but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with leadership
