About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and business-minded Recruiter with a specialization in finance and accounting talent acquisition. This role is ideal for someone with a background in business or B2B sales who also understands the language of finance - whether through professional experience, education, or internships.
As a Finance & Accounting Recruiter, you will source, engage, and place high-caliber candidates into roles ranging from bookkeeping and financial analysis to tax and audit - playing a vital role in helping clients build high-performing financial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, interview, and evaluate candidates for finance and accounting roles
- Build strong relationships with clients and understand their business needs
- Collaborate with hiring managers to align candidate profiles with financial and cultural fit
- Manage end-to-end recruiting cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Maintain and grow a network of finance and accounting professionals
- Leverage CRM/ATS platforms to manage pipeline and report on recruitment metrics
- Stay up to date on trends in accounting, finance, and recruiting
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen and/or B2B sales experience
- Ability to engage with finance professionals and speak confidently about roles and requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and LinkedIn Recruiter
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field highly preferred
- CPA, CMA, or CFA certification highly preferred
Preferred Background:
- Previous experience or education in finance or accounting, including internships
- Understanding of roles such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax, audit, and financial analysis
