What You'll Be Doing:
As the Accounting Consultant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of their financial operations. You'll be responsible for core accounting functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, compliance, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Consultant:
- Reconcile subledger
- Clean up deferred revenue (POC accounting)
- Identify and correct misclassified entries
- Clean and manipulate complex data
- Review and identify missing or incorrect data to be removed
- Maintain the general ledger, including preparation of accurate and timely journal entries
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and ensure proper depreciation tracking
- Support and enhance standard costing procedures and inventory control measures
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Consultant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant role
- NetSuite System experience is strongly desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Advanced Functions
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability
- Comfortable in a dynamic, bustling manufacturing or industrial environment
