A growing and busy client has several openings to add to their team for experience in the Automotive industry.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our clients team in West Palm Beach on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive accounting and be able to handle a variety of accounting tasks with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and process invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
- Inventory Management: Track and reconcile inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive accounting or a related field.
- Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CDK Global), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and strong analytical skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
