Job Summary: Evaluate existing processes, design & implement new processes, and measure, monitor & control business processes to identify areas of improvement to gain efficiency, reduce costs and meet organization's strategic goals.
Job Role:Accounts Receivable- Set up New Customers in Accounting/ERP System
- Update Customer Master as needed (i.e. Address changes, County Tax updates, Contacts)
- Assist with Accounts Receivable Billing
- Deposit Checks using Remote Deposit Terminal
- Match payments with Open AR invoices and process through Accounting/ERP System
- Request Tax Exempt Certificates from New Customers; File and Organize
- Assist with review Open AR balances and email statements on a monthly basis
- Balance AR Ledger to GL Monthly
- Other duties as requested/assigned by Controller/Management
Accounts Payable- Set up New Vendors in the Accounting/ERP System
- Update Vendor Master as needed (i.e. Address changes, W-9 Form, Contacts)
- Assist with Accounts Payable Invoice Entry
- Matching packing lists and Purchase Order Receipts to Invoices
- Assisting with Accounts Payable Bi-Monthly Scheduled Payments
- Entering Miscellaneous Payments in the Accounting/ERP System
Software- Learn Global Shop Solutions (current ERP System) to become proficient in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Systems
- Utilize available dashboards in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules for analysis purposes
Taxes- Assist Controller / Staff Accountant with 1099 Form generation / information gathering
General- Retrieve mail daily, sort and deliver to departments as needed
- Reconcile the GL and bank statements monthly (TBD)
- Audit and process credit card bills monthly
- Process customer credit card payments (as needed)
- Interact with management, customers, and vendors
Filing- Manage and maintain an organized filing system
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidentialWhat You Will Bring to the Team: - Technical Degree or Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting
- Minimum three (3) years' experience
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency to understand principles and procedures of bookkeeping and recordkeeping
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of AP, AR and GL
- Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness

Regular Hours of Work:8:00AM - 5:00PM, Mon-Fri; Weekends, Holidays and work hours as scheduled by Management.

- Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
- Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
