We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Accounting Clerk to support our financial operations with a focus on
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities: - Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.
- Review and reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor records.
- Assist with expense report processing and ensure proper documentation.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and send invoices, track outstanding payments, and follow up with customers.
- Process incoming payments, apply payments to accounts, and reconcile accounts receivable.
- Assist with collections efforts and resolve payment disputes professionally.
- General Accounting Support:
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end closing.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
What We're Looking For: - Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, or bookkeeping.
- Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Great Plains, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally and collaborate across departments.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $56,000.00 per year
