Looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a growing Energy company in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will be an easy going, proactive and motivated accountant looking to work for a well established company.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Assist with vendor maintenance, review payment addresses, federal identification numbers, and certificates of insurance.
• Complete credit applications and new customer forms.
• Code and categorize accounts payable invoices, payment processing, and review same for accuracy.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Prepare schedules to support preparation of annual income tax returns.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and prepare account reconciliations.
• Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Controller.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with Accounting Software
• Familiarity with sales tax and annual Form 1099 procedures are a plus
• Advanced level experience with MS Excel
