Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join their team. This role involves processing and analyzing accounts payable, provisions, and cash receipts related to our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and provisions accurately and promptly.
- Verify expense account coding and ensure consistency across databases.
- Review all documentation and information to ensure proper and accurate entry.
- Resolve any issues with accounts payable invoices by communicating with internal and external staff.
- Manage and reconcile monthly credit card statements and receipts.
- Perform various reconciliations and prepare month-end journal entries and accruals.
- Complete ad-hoc projects, analyses, and tasks as requested by management.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and internal controls for accounting records.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS preferred).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
