Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join their team. This role involves processing and analyzing accounts payable, provisions, and cash receipts related to our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and provisions accurately and promptly.
  2. Verify expense account coding and ensure consistency across databases.
  3. Review all documentation and information to ensure proper and accurate entry.
  4. Resolve any issues with accounts payable invoices by communicating with internal and external staff.
  5. Manage and reconcile monthly credit card statements and receipts.
  6. Perform various reconciliations and prepare month-end journal entries and accruals.
  7. Complete ad-hoc projects, analyses, and tasks as requested by management.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Maintain compliance with company policies and internal controls for accounting records.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  3. Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS preferred).
  4. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
