This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join a growing HVAC supplier in Seattle. If you love working with numbers, enjoy problem-solving, and want to expand your accounting skills in a supportive, team-driven environment, this role is for you.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
- Reconcile inventory receiving and vendor invoices, coordinating with Sales and Support teams as needed.
- Process A/P and employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment entries, and collections.
- Support month-end closing, audits, and financial reporting.
- Organize and maintain electronic accounting records.
You will be successful in this Accounting Assistant position if you are detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow your accounting expertise.
Accounting Assistant Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in AP/AR, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
