Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:
- Maintain accounts payable, including overseeing the distribution of invoices to appropriate department heads and properly coding invoices
- Act as the point of contact for vendors to review account status and other inquiries
- Prepare, review and enter payroll accounting entries
- Analyze payroll variances and provide reporting support
- Assist with month end financial reports and regulatory reporting
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years' experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in the healthcare field a plus
The Accounting Assistant role is fully onsite in Fairlawn, OH with a salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.
