We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights that contribute to business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other financial documentation.
- Collaborate with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting software and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- CPA certification (preferred but not required).
