About The Part Time Accountant/ Bookkeeper Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team for 10-20 hours a week. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities Of The Part Time Accountant/ Bookkeeper:

  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Manage invoicing process in Salesforce/QuickBooks Online.
    • Calculate and remit sales tax.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process approximately 500 invoices per month.
    • Track down approvals for timely payments.
    • Assist with AP accrual calculations.
  • Month-End Close:
    • Prepare and post journal entries.
    • Assist with reconciliations.
  • Payroll:
    • Process payroll for 94 employees across 3 locations.
    • Manage payroll accruals.
    • Handle payroll for 3rd party vendors.
  • General Accounting:
    • Assist with booth profitability analysis (over 200 booths).
    • Other ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications Of The Part Time Accountant/ Bookkeeper:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Salesforce preferred
    • Excellent data entry and analytical skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
