About The Part Time Accountant/ Bookkeeper Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team for 10-20 hours a week. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities Of The Part Time Accountant/ Bookkeeper:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Manage invoicing process in Salesforce/QuickBooks Online.
- Calculate and remit sales tax.
- Accounts Payable:
- Process approximately 500 invoices per month.
- Track down approvals for timely payments.
- Assist with AP accrual calculations.
- Month-End Close:
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Assist with reconciliations.
- Payroll:
- Process payroll for 94 employees across 3 locations.
- Manage payroll accruals.
- Handle payroll for 3rd party vendors.
- General Accounting:
- Assist with booth profitability analysis (over 200 booths).
- Other ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Of The Part Time Accountant/ Bookkeeper:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Salesforce preferred
- Excellent data entry and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
