Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:
• Own daily financial operations as the organization's go-to Accountant, ensuring accuracy across systems and teams
• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, deposits, and fund reporting
• Support audits, tax filings, and the budgeting process as a key member of the Accountant team
• Collaborate across departments to maintain clean records and streamline workflows
• Maintain general ledger integrity and proactively identify areas for improvement
Qualifications for the Accountant:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with nonprofit or fund accounting exposure
• Strong skills in reconciliations, journal entries, Excel, and general ledger systems (QuickBooks or INCODE a plus)
