Position Summary:

Confidential Family Office is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, investment-related accounting, and broader family office activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple financial functions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting Operations:

  • Manage daily accounting functions and maintain the general ledger
  • Record cash receipts, disbursements, and other financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank activity, credit card accounts, and intercompany balances
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting packages
  • Help document internal policies and streamline accounting processes

Investment Support:

  • Maintain and monitor data within the investment management platform
  • Prepare schedules and journal entries related to investments
  • Support reviews of capitalization tables, liquidation preferences, proceeds waterfalls, and investor rights
  • Track activity related to Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)

Family Office Support:

  • Coordinate household-related financial matters, including insurance, payroll, and employee benefits
  • Support trust and estate planning activities and maintain related documentation

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or family office settings
  • Strong academic background; CPA preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is not available
