We are seeking a newly or nearly CPA-qualified Accountant to join our growing team in Houston. This is a unique opportunity to work directly under the CFO, gain hands-on experience with our M&A team, and help modernize our finance operations using AI and automation tools.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting, looking to accelerate their career and grow into a future finance leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly group financial reports and supporting the annual audit
- Work closely with the CFO to improve reporting, financial processes, and controls
- Collaborate with the US Financial Controller on reconciliations and working capital management
- Support M&A activity, including financial analysis, due diligence, and post-deal integration
- Contribute to the development and implementation of AI-driven and automated accounting processes
- Support internal controls and ensure financial compliance with policies and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA-qualified or actively pursuing certification
- 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience (SME or international exposure a plus)
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems or reporting tools is preferred
- Interest or experience in M&A or finance automation is a bonus
