Job Description
The accountant will assist in the reporting and reconciliation of the financial activities of the company, working closely with the Controller.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Prepare accruals and assist in the month-end close process.
• Monthly account analyses / reconciliations to verify various General Ledger account balances.
• Participate in external audit.
• Assist tax department in year-end audit and tax reporting.
• Maintain internal compliance.
• Maintain actual, forecast, & budget data.
• Assists with cash flow reporting.
• Expense vs. budget reporting.
Requirements Include But Not Limited To:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2 - 4 years of corporate accounting experience within a manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of GAAP and proven ability to perform month end close duties.
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Less than 5% of travel may be required
