-5-7 years of professional construction experience as a Commercial Project Accountant
-Experience with AIA Billing (a standardized process used in the construction industry for submitting payment applications.)
-Strong experience with change orders (formal documents used in project accounting to record any modifications to the original scope of work, contract terms, or project timeline.)
-Communication with internal and external stakeholders

-Experience with Textura (construction project management software) or Plexus (the candidate will be trained on how to use this.)

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Project Accountant for $85k-$125k for a client in Bronxville, NY. This person will help in leading the Commercial Construction Accounting team by spending their time doing the following:
- 50 percent of their time handling billing functions and operations and processing AIA paperwork with backup required for contractors to get paid
- 50 percent of their time communicating externally with project management teams and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Of the 50 percent, this person will be taking time to sift through analytics to understand what to bill, change order management (being on top of this by consistently following up with the project managers) and handling collections.
