Job Title: Payroll (Paylocity) & Accounting Specialist (Full Cycle)
Location: City of Industry, CA
Schedule: work 5 days (Mon-Fri) for 8 hours per day. (7:30am - 4:30am or 8:00am - 5:00pm)

Duties
The Accounting/Payroll II position is under general supervision this position performs varied professional accounting work related to the preparation and analysis of financial and accounting statements, the coordination of data required for internal and external audit, monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory and program reports, and provides research and accounting data analyses for management and provides guidance to management and departmental representatives given questions or problems.
Expert in payroll and responsible for the processing of 180 ee's its confidential administration (bi-weekly); including garnishments, benefit deductions and tax deductions consistent with federal, state wage and hour laws.
Compile payroll reports, process hours of work and related time records, maintain payroll control records and calculate payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
Requirements:
1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance,
2. Two (2) years of general professional accounting and budgeting experience
3. Excellent sills using MS Office Suite & Paylocity
4.Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll system.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
7. Excellent problem solving/judgment skills and high-level of attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
9.Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
10. Math: May have to calculate changes to pay rates based on time off, overtime, etc.
11. Communication: talk with employees to help them understand their paycheck and any changes that may occur.
